Maryland Rush U19 State Cup Champions
Maryland Rush (MRM) U19 Girls coached by Rob Kurtz and Mike Hayes won the Maryland State Cup by beating Laurel Premier 3-0. The U19 team now qulifies for Regionals in Rhode Island June 27 - 30. Congratulations and Good Luck. GO RUSH!!!

SoccerStar Winter Futsal Clinics
SoccerStar is hosting Futsal clinics on Saturday and Sunday afternoons starting in January at the Bethesda Sport and Health Club. The program is directed by Allison Diaz, previously a 4-year varsity player at Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, and a former Division I soccer player at Canisius College. [+]
Rush Nike 92 Wins SAC Columbus Day Tournament
MRM Nike 92 (fka SSA Eagles) won the Womens U19 High School Premier Flight at the SAC Columbus Day Tournament, October 6-7, 2012. Mike Hayes took the lead on coaching the team consisting of girls from 9 different high schools. The team, also coached by Rob Kurtz, is currently ranked #2 in the state. Congratulations Nike 92!
Seneca Venom Completed Undefeated Season
Seneca Venom (now MRM Rush Nike 97) completed their 7th straight undefeated season and has moved to NCSL Division 3 in the Fall of 2012. After the conclusion of the spring NCSL season, many of the players participated this summer in Super Y League - South Atltantic Division.
SSA Blink Magic - U14G
SSA Blink Magic wins WAGS Division Two
In June of 2012, Seneca Blink Magic (now MD Rush Nike ’97) completed another successful season winning WAGS Division Two and is expected to move to Division One in the Fall of 2012. With a strong, motivated team and dedicated coaches, Blink has finished in first place three of the past four seasons with a record of 25 wins, one loss, and nine ties. They’ve scored 87 goals letting in only 29. Along the way, they’ve had many tournament successes including winning the Maryland President's Cup in the spring of 2011.

SSA Whirlwind - U14G
Congratulations to the SSA Whirlwind U14 girls team!
The Seneca U14 Ladies won every game at The Virginian Tournament over the Memorial Day weekend with three shutouts and 12 goals. The championship game started with Whirlwind behind with a goal; and the girls fought hard and came back with a win in an overtime with a score of 3-1 . Congratulations to all the Whirlwind ladies!

SSA Storm - 2012 FPYC Liberty Cup Invitational Tournament Champions
The Seneca Storm U19 Girls (whose players come from 17 different schools) won the 2012 FPYC Liberty Cup Invitational Tournament. They opened the tournament in a rematch of last year’s championship game where the Storm, this time, came out on top. Congratulations Storm!

SSA Thunderbolts, U15B, “sweep” Baltimore March Mania
The Seneca “Bolts” went undefeated in the 2012 Baltimore March Mania college showcase tournament on March 17-18 in Owings Mills, MD -- besting teams from four states by a goal differential of 9-3, including two shut-outs, in an exhausting run to the championship. [+]

SSA Magic Finalist in St. Patrick's Day Tournament
SSA Magic, U13 Girls, were the runner ups in the Stafford St. Patrick’s Day Tournament. Highlighted by a nice come from behind victory in the semifinal game that went to 7 rounds of PKs. The girls played hard all weekend and lost the close Championship game 1-0. Congratulations Magic!

Maryland Rush Montgomery (MRM) is located in Maryland, just outside Washington, DC. Our boys and girls’ teams, U9 through U19, play in the EDP, Region 1, Colonial League, Super Y, WAGS, NCSL, BBSL, OBSL, and MSI leagues.
In the Spring of 2012, Seneca Soccer Association entered into a partnership with Maryland Rush and the Rush Soccer organization. Growing from the Colorado Rush, Rush Soccer is a nationally and internationally recognized youth soccer organization with over 40,000 players in over 40 soccer clubs around the US and the world. Rush has a cooperating system to share training, coaching programs, several proven player development programs and expanded player and team opportunities. As a result of this partnership the new name of our club is Maryland Rush Montgomery.

Rush Soccer promotes the development of character, the electricity of competition and the importance of pure enjoyment.
