SSA Strikers, U09 Boys, is holding ongoing tryouts for the Fall 2011 season.  We train and compete during the fall and spring in outdoor soccer and during the winter we train and compete in Futsal.  We also conduct training during the summer months as well.  We are a professionally trained team with dedicated coaches who concentrate on individual skill development, team work and tactics through advanced training methods.

Our coaching style emphasizes possession-driven, creative style of play, "joga-bonito" soccer, focusing on each player’s long term soccer development as well as the development of a complete athlete.

The Strikers is coached by Kennedy Torres, a Brazilian-native who played semi-pro in Brazil until being recruited to play soccer for a top Division-1 University. After graduating Coach Kennedy played semi-pro soccer on the East Coast. Coach Kennedy currently holds USSF and NSCAA coaching licenses. Strikers’s assistant coaches are also licensed with USSF and/or NSCAA.

In addition to Strikers’ top level coaching staff Strikers players train with various top-trainers from the area including current professional soccer players. Coach Kennedy believes in developing the total athlete and offers different developmental clinics focusing on Speed, Agility and Quickness (SAQ).
