Seneca Blinkis seeking players for our Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 seasons (U-13). Players must be born on or after August 1, 1997 to be eligible to join the team for the Fall 2010 Season.
Our coaching style emphasizes possession-driven, creative style of play, "joga-bonito" soccer, focusing on each girl’s long term soccer development as well as the development of a complete athlete.
Blink is coached by Kennedy Torres, a Brazilian-native who played semi-pro in Brazil until being recruited to play soccer for a top Division-1 University. After graduating Coach Kennedy played semi-pro soccer on the East Coast. Coach Kennedy currently holds USSF and NSCAA coaching licenses. Blink’s assistant coaches are also licensed with USSF and/or NSCAA.
In addition to Blinks top level coaching staff Blink players train with various top-trainers from the area including current professional soccer players. Coach Kennedy believes in developing the total athlete and offers different developmental clinics focusing on Speed, Agility and Quickness (SAQ).
Players interested in trying out for Blink must be committed to the game of soccer. Our team competes in the Fall, Winter and Spring soccer leagues in addition to pre and post season tournaments including training year round. Our players are committed to the team, the game and each other and have become fast and lifelong friends on and off the field. We welcome skilled, hardworking and positive minded players for tryouts.
