Seneca Soccer Association (SSA) is located in Maryland, just outside Washington, DC.  Our boys and girls’ teams, U9 through U19, play in the WAGS, NCSL, BBSL, OBSL, and MSI leagues in the Washington, DC area.

SSA’s mission is to develop and promote a program for providing players with the opportunity to acquire and develop superior soccer skills and a love of the game through higher levels of competition and greater coaching expertise.  The Club focuses on player development, with the goal of developing skilled players who can compete effectively on the field.

Congrats to Seneca Alliance Premier for going to Ocean City MD and being back to back Champions 2009 and 2010 winners they played 6 games in one day going undefeated and only being scored on 3 times!

The U13 Girls Seneca Hornets completed an impressive run through the top bracket of the prestigious Virginian Cup to secure a spot in the championship game against the defending Virginia State Cup champs, the VSA Heat.

The Seneca Soccer Family is very proud to announce that one of our own, Coach Rob Kurtz who coaches our Girl’s U19 Eagles, was selected as one of the top 20 Coaches of the Year for 2009 by the Positive Coaching Alliance organization.

He was selected among thousands of coaches around the country, not only soccer coaches, but football, baseball, basketball, swimming, gymnastics, wrestling, lacrosse, cheerleading, hockey, volleyball, track, weighlifting, etc, from Recreational teams to Junior Olympics.

Congratulations Coach Kurtz on this very prestigious award.  It embodies the essence of what it means to be a good coach who makes a difference in the lives of our athletes, and Seneca is very proud that Coach Kurtz is one of our own.

Seneca United U8 and U9 teams finished an impressive Winter indoor season

Seneca Soccer Association sent both its U10 boys Alliance Premier and Explosion team to Elkton MD to play in the Cecil Fall Blast on November 22 and played teams from Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania both won their groups and met in the finals to take 1st and 2nd place!

Seneca's United U9 Premier Boys team was crowned champions of the 2009 August Cup tournament, going undefeated.  They scored a total of 36 goals in 4 games, and only allowed 3 goals against!!!  They are currently looking to add a couple more talented players to their Spring 2010 roster, so please make sure to visit their tryout announcement for more information.
